I met Misty Spinney at the Spirit Weavers Gathering in Oregon in 2025. I was ready for a transformation, and she gave me one: a haircut that made me feel more like myself than I ever have before.
Founder of Threshold Adornment, Misty's approach to hair and beauty is ceremonial: She weaves intention and spirit into a ritual that makes you feel like an anointed queen on a throne.
Misty began her career as a beauty editor and a go-to hair and makeup artists for Silicon Valley's female executives. "My role was never just about hair and makeup. It was about guiding women through threshold moments, helping them reclaim their own beauty, power, and presence," Misty says.
Misty practices her art in Northern California and travels to clients and gatherings all over the world. She's joining us for our Spring 2026 Revery Revelry in Hastings on Hudson, NY.

Where She Goes
Misty has a deep attachment to the island of Oahu. She loves any season there, and finds that winter has a "deeper call to awareness" with the powerful ocean and the rain. Three places she recommends for an energy boost:
