Kate Owlsong Merrill Evans and I were tent-neighbors at the Spirit Weavers Gathering in Oregon, and I immediately recognized her as a kindred spirit. As I’ve gotten to know Kate, I am so inspired by the path that she’s created for herself. Trained as a mechanical engineer, Kate pivoted to counseling psychology for her graduate work, and over the past decade has created a practice that helps couples connect with the sweetness in their relationships. Raising two kids, one of them a daughter, Kate is passionate about holding space for girls to connect with themselves, each other, and with nature. She runs a nature-based after-school rites of passage program in San Francisco for rising 7th grade girls called Woven Roots.

Kate is based in Mill Valley, CA.
