I met Elizabeth Knell through our co-working space, HudCo. I was seeking a coach for a pivotal moment in my life. It was early 2024, it had been 3 years since I quit my job at Facebook to start my own thing, and it was time to get clear about what that was exactly. I chose Elizabeth because she combined two things that were important to me: She had a corporate background having worked at marketing agencies earlier in her career, so she knew where I was coming from; and she used tools of soul-work, like tarot and walks in the woods (also Core Energy Coaching, Acceptance and Self-Compassion, Mindfulness, Hakomi Somatics, and Reiki), so I felt like she would be able to support the creative, intuitive process I was in, and she did.
We worked together for four months, and in that time, I narrowed down the ideas I had from dozens to just two, one of which became REVERY. I appreciate the thoughtful questions she asked, like “Why is having so many projects important to you?” which made me think, “is it???” and her prompts to have me pause and reflect on where I am in my process rather than rush ahead to a next step that would distract me from fully being in the step I was in. I completed our time together with a clear forward path, participating in a local startup accelerator that enabled me to refine the idea Elizabeth and I had workshopped.
Elizabeth is based in Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, and also sees clients remotely. She also practices as a Death Doula and hosts "death cafe" conversations for people in all stages of life.
